The photo was taken at the Orimattila intersection of highway E75, where they've put some artsyfartsy sculpture at the side of the road (on the right in the photo) just accross a piece of nature's own art, a tall sprucetree with a huge witch's broom at its top. The tree's been a landmark for me since I was a kid, and one of the many times I've passed it, I took a picture of it on a whim.
I knew it'd be useful for something.
The thing "headed this way" is something I drew when I was about one or two years old (I'll need to check), possibly a self-portrait.
