Mottled Warms

The mostly-purple scarf is a mix of triangular shawl and longer, rectangular scarf. The fringes on the triangle-sides that point down, and at the ends of the "scarf" parts that extend from both top corners of the triangle, are the ends of the yarns I've used to crochet the stripes, knotted into groups of ~3 and braided (excellently stress-free way of minimizing the amount of required finishing touches on a multi-yarn work, would recommend). The top side of the triangle folds over for a bit of a frilly collar. This was mostly experimenting with different crocheting techniques, but I think it turned out quite nice, and it's very warm and comfy. The photos don't show it, but some of the white stripes are made of sparkly yarn.

The mitten-things are a mix of arm-warmers and fingerless gloves, and the pattern is slightly adapted from a book by Sanna Vatanen (if you're finnish and do yarn crafts you probably know it). The parts at the sides, on the wrist (this part is ribbed), and going over the palm are knitted, as per the original pattern, but the colourful top part is crocheted. The actual reason the colours of the stripes and the embroidered flowers are reversed (and different shades of the colour) on each mitten is because what went into the first mitten was all I had of that shade of green, but I think they look connected enough to tell they're a pair. While the fingers not being covered at all is convenient for dexterity (first gloves I've had that I didn't have to take off to operate the camera),  these things are obviously not for the coldest of winter. They do still stay on just fine when pulled down over the fingers, though.
